Keeping things casual and easy, Vanessa Hudgens was spotted out and about North Hollywood with her mother Gina on Monday (November 26).Wearing a cute white top, accompanied by a black scarf with a fox on it, the High School Musical star recently revealed to press that she’s one of those girls who spends an eternity getting ready for big events.
“Gosh, it takes me forever to get ready for an event like the AMAs,” Vanessa told FOX news, adding, “But I’m always so unprepared, my stylist tells me but I still never know what I’m wearing.”
“But as you can imagine my hair and makeup takes so long, if I tell you honestly how many hours I will sound like a diva. But I’m lucky I don’t have to do it myself — I can just hire someone else to put the bronzer on me,” she adds. [Gossip Girls]

Continuing on with a second trip out shopping with her mom yesterday (changing clothes in between, of course), Vanessa Hudgens toted around her infamous red purse from store to store.
It seems that the Christmas spirit has gotten into the High School Musical actress, as she is said to have graciously given a $20 dollar bill to a homeless gentleman outside of the mall once she finished grabbing a few presents.
Meanwhile, in career-related news, the 18-year-old Disney star recently attended the DVD release party for the second HSM installment, talking to press about what she thinks the reason is behind it’s success.
“I think what is so great about the ‘HSM’ series is that people can really connect to our characters and fall in love with our characters; teens love all that drama that surrounds our lives.” [Gossip Girls]

She’s one of the most recognizable singer/actresses of the up and coming generation in Hollywood, but Vanessa Hudgens says she never meant for it to be this way.
The High School Musical hottie confesses that the whole fame and fortune thing was never a part of her original plan. She told press, “I became an actress and started singing and dancing because I truly loved it. I did not want to be a celebrity. ... I think fame is just something that comes along when you are in something that is such a success.”
And along with celebrity comes other undesirable side-effects. “People become jaded and infatuated with Hollywood. I think it happens to a lot of celebrities, and it messes with their head.”
If not for HSM, Hudgens says she may have taken a more Kelly Clarkson route. “I was 15 at the time ... and you had to be 16 to audition. So I thought, ‘One more year.’ Then, when I turned 16, High School Musical came along and I got to do it. So I thought I’d skip on American Idol.” [Gossip Girls]

Details about the highly anticipated High School Musical 3 movie are slowly leaking out.
"It's their senior year, so there's going to be graduation - and prom!" Vanessa Hudgens, 18, reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly.
Worried that Gabriella (Hudgens) and Troy (Zac Efron) won't be sharing a special dance in the flick (which hits screen next October)?
Fear not.
Efron confirmed to Us he'll be returning and the film's director, Kenny Ortega, added that "all of the original cast will be back."
Still, Ortega warned, "I have a feeling this will be the end [for the current stars]. This franchise may move to another generation!"

Hey guys! I'm back. Updates should be normal now even though they weren't that limited but yea! Anyway, I have some videos to start off.The first video is the partner dancing road to High School Musical 2 episode that air before the pop-up edition of HSM came on yesterday. The second one is one that I know a few of you really wanted to see! It's V doing her short little Soulja Boy dance in her seat.
The last one is on X17 Online and It's a video of Vanessa hanging out with a friend on Thursday which you can check out here! They also have a couple more pictures of her heading to the gym here. Plus, I really don't read the comments on that sort of site because a lot of them are mean but Sara at Miss Vanessa brought it to my attention that a lot of the comments on X17 are very nasty and you should not read them if you are underage.
Candids will be coming tomorrow of Vanessa out to eat at Koi with her family!

Here's a better version of the bloopers! Enjoy!Expect a new, "definitely more grown-up" sound from Vanessa Hudgens when the "High School Musical" princess's second album gets released next year. That's the word from Vanessa, who tells us she's seven songs into the record, which she expects to have out after she finishes filming the third "High School Musical" movie in the spring.
"It's really fun, R&B, soulful," she says, but adds, "I'm still waiting to work with the big producers." The 19-year-old beauty is also "trying to work out another movie before we start 'High School Musical 3' as well, but trying to figure out everyone's schedule -- it's very complicated."
Hudgens and Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, director Kenny Ortega and the rest of the "HSM" stars, sans Lucas Grabeel, were on hand for the DVD sing-along premiere of their "High School Musical 2" the other night at Disney's El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. The extended edition DVD, including music videos and karaoke features, gets its release Dec. 11.
Hudgens, who gained notoriety when her nude photos were leaked on the Internet last summer -- which led her to make a public apology -- told us at the event that she isn't letting current Internet chatter get to her. She smiled and shook her head over speculation that her romance with leading man Zac Efron is merely a publicity ploy, saying, "I just brush it off. People can say what they want to say. I know what's real and I know what's fake, and that's all that matters."

Daily dish girl talking about the HSM2 DVD release party-Sounds like fun!OMG! High School Musical 2 is being released on DVD soon and I was invited to the premiere and party last night! I felt ultra cool showing up and being handed official HSM 2 passes to wear around my neck, which let me hang on the red carpet with stars like Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens, Monique Coleman, Corbin Bleu, Jason Dolley, Moises Arias, and about a million other super hot celebs!
If that wasn’t cool enough I got to go hang at the after party, too! The ballroom where the party was held was decked out like you wouldn’t believe. I seriously thought I was in the movie. Outside the party was Sharpay’s pink golf cart and other HSM 2 decorations! Walking in there were servers holding trays of Sharpay’s famous blue iced tea and big tables full of yummy food like stuffed potato wedges, hamburgers, salad, tater tots, tacos and a huge table FULL of the most amazing cupcakes and desserts I have ever seen! There was a huge stage with tons of beach balls and tables to sit at and watch all the action. I walked around after pigging out and was blown away by all the cool stuff. There was a cool crazy-hat making booth where I stopped to make my own Tiger Beat hat and then went and hung out in the video game lounge. I shot a few hoops in the basketball court set up on the huge balcony and then went to the karaoke room and sang my heart out.
Of course the best part of the night was hanging out with the celebs! The whole HSM 2 cast were in an exclusive VIP area, but I got a great view of Zac picking out food, while Cory In The House cutie Jason chat with friends. I got the best surprise when I bumped into Corbin on my way to get another blue iced tea! He was so excited to see me and gave me the hugest hug ever. We didn’t have too long to chat because a million fans wanted his autograph and he had to go hang with the rest of the cast! I eventually had to head home to but it was definitely one unforgettable night!

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens did very few red-carpet interviews Monday night at a splashy party in Hollywood celebrating the Dec. 11 DVD release of "High School Musical 2." They also skipped the press junket.So, are they becoming a couple of prima donnas?
Not a chance, sources confided. But because these two young stars are so hounded by paparazzi everywhere they go, there is a fear of overexposure when there is still another "High School Musical" movie to make.
"We're doing `High School Musical 3' for the big screen," director Kenny Ortega told me this week. "We're back at East High, final year, and we're gonna bring in some new characters and have some fun. Mix it up a bit."
When Kenny launched the franchise last year, Zac and Vanessa and the rest of the cast were unknowns. Now, they have surpassed the likes of the Olsen twins and Nicole Richie as bigger gets for paparazzi.
I wondered if the director ever worries that it might be too much attention, too soon, for his young cast.
"Yeah, I do," he admitted. "Not that they can't handle it or that they can't be responsible. It's just that they're chased around a lot. I'm discovering that it's hard for them to have personal lives - just to step outside of an apartment and go down the street and grab a sandwich is a thing of their past. That bothers me."
He said all they are trying to do is live their lives.
"They love new adventure, they love being kids, they love going to the movies, they love hanging out with friends and going to parties and that part of being young has kind of been taken away from them," Kenny said. "Their interests are what makes them interesting people. You start to pull them back and not allow them to have that sort of full experience."

‘High School Musical 2′ DVD Release // Posted on November 19 by Jessie
Hey Guys! I'm super, super sorry I couldn't get any pictures up today! I have like over 100 and my FTP isn't working. Who would have thought? Lol. I'm trying to get it fixed so bare with me for the AMA and HSM2 DVD Release pictures. I couldn't get any AMA clips on youtube because there was a copyright thing going on with those so I hope you guys caught it! :( Sorry. There are some Access Hollywood videos from the event which you can check out here & here. During the AMA's they showed her 4 times. Once in the very beginning they showed her in the audience while they were doing the "Soulja Boy" dance and it looks like nessa knows it too 'cause she was doing it in the crowd. Then she accepted the AMA with the HSM2 Cast for best soundtrack, then they showed her in the Old Navy Fashion Report, and lastly she presented the award for Breakthrough Artist with Ashley. The award went to "Daughtry" by the way. This is really my last post before I leave, lol and so I just want to tell you, you can see some DVD Release pictures from tonight at Just Jared here until I get back! The prospect of a High School Musical 3 appears to be getting closer and closer to reality."I am so very excited," Vanessa Hudgens told PEOPLE backstage at Sunday's American Music Awards in L.A., when asked about returning for the threequel. "To do a third one for the big screen, I can't begin to think how much fun we'll have."
Hudgens, 18, said that although "only a few people have actually signed the contracts ... We're all definitely on board."
Contracts for the film's young stars are still being negotiated, a key being Hudgens's boyfriend Zac Efron, 20. After a success with the film Hairspray, Efron saw his value skyrocket in 2007. He told PEOPLE in September that he'd return "if the script is good," and was photographed recently with a script-toting director.
Hudgens has reportedly signed on for part three, but neither her rep nor Disney has confirmed. "We always have so much fun," she said of the inevitable reunion.
HSM director Kenny Ortega – who, in October, told PEOPLE work was under way on a first-draft script for the sequel – admitted Sunday how hopeful the cast and crew is.
"We're all verbally committed, and we're all very hopeful of doing this," Ortega said to PEOPLE at the 15th Annual Diversity Awards in L.A. "We want to do this, and we're going to have some new characters arriving at East High. That'll be fun, mix it up a little bit."
Asked in the American Music Awards pressroom about how much she’ll be making for the sequel, costar (and Hudgens's friend) Ashley Tisdale said, "We don't talk about our income, but Disney is great!" [SOURCE]

Vanessa Hudgens goes shopping for her younger sister Stella’s birthday in Studio City on Monday with mom Gina.The High School Musical star stopped at Baskin Robbins where she picked out a cute-looking cake for her Stella. She then picked up gifts at Best Buy and Target including a swivel 19-inch monitor.
Stella turns 12 tomorrow (Tuesday). HAPPY BIRTHDAY, STELLA!

CARE BEARVanessa Hudgens leaves her home in Los Angeles carrying a stuffed animal teddy bear and her iPhone on Friday. The 19-year-old High School Musical star was a little shy but at long last, flashed waiting photographers a peace sign.
After running a few errands, including a stop at her boyfriend Zac Efron’s house, Vanessa and her mom Gina drove to Anaheim to meet up with her dad Greg and litter sister Stella.
The Hudgens family then spent the evening at the Disneyland theme park, where several young fans recognized the young star as she snacked on a bag of cotton candy. Did anyone spot Vanessa at Disneyland yesterday??

Vanessa Hudgens scopes out a few $2 millon dollar homes in the Hollywood Hills on Wednesday afternoon.The 18-year-old High School Musical star spent several hours house hunting with an agent. Vanessa looked at five houses, one of which was listed for $1.6 million.
Later in the day, Vanessa headed to the gym with her father, Greg, who angrily swung his water bottle at photographers as he left the gym with his daughter.
Vanessa, slightly embarrassed, yelled “Daaaaad!” during the bottle swinging. [Just Jared]

The cast of High School Musical 2 will help lead the annual Hollywood Holiday Parade this year along with Bob Barker. The parade, which will honor the firefighters in the Southern California area, will have 35 marching bands, floats and equestrian units. It will be held on November 25th along it's usual route - east on Hollywood Boulevard between La Brea and Highland avenues and then west along Sunset Boulevard between Highland and La Brea.Scheduled airing for the parade is Dec 16th on KTLA-TV Channel 5 and possibly WGN-TV in Chicago. Hopefully one of your local TV stations will pick it up too.

A solo Vanessa Hudgens visits a friend in Hollywood on Friday afternoon.Earlier today, it was announced that Vanessa and costar Ashley Tisdale will reprise their roles in the upcoming feature film of High School Musical 3.
Co-stars Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman are also in final negotiations.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (November 1, 2007) “High School Musical” star Vanessa Hudgens is attempting to get a $150,000 lawsuit from a former lawyer dismissed by filing a motion claiming she was a minor at the time she signed a contract with the man.
And, in an attempt to prove her claim, the brunette beauty attached, as Exhibit A, her hospital birth certificate, a document, which includes her adorable baby footprints.
The sweet reminder of Hudgens’ baby days (pictured below) shows that the actress was quite the small tot, her feet measuring just 2 ½ inches long. [Source]

Vanessa Back for HSM3 With a "Substantial" Raise // Posted on November 2 by Jessie
Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale will reprise their roles in the upcoming third installment of the hit movie High School Musical, sources close to the negotiation tell Usmagazine.com. A source says that Hudgens will receive a “substantial increase" in pay.“Vanessa is locked for the movie,” a HSM3 source tells Us. “She is very happy that the deal is done.”
"The contract will be signed within the next week," a Hudgens source tells Us. "It is almost a done deal.” A close Tisdale source says of the other lead actress' negotations, “It’s done, done, done.”
Hudgens' nude photo scandal in September sparked an erroneous report by OK magazine that she would be replaced by either Adrienne Bailon and Sabrina Bryan, both members of the Cheetah Girls. “I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken those photos,” Hudgens said in a statement. At the time, Disney released a statement saying, “We hope she’s learned a valuable lesson.”
Bryan, 23, dismissed rumors she would replace Hudgens at the KIIS-FM Homecoming Concert on October 27 in Anaheim, California.
“Vanessa is in control of her own career right now,” Bryan told Us. “If she decides not to do High School Musical, I can guarantee you that it will be her deciding that. No one will strip anything away from her.”
The movie, the first in the hit movie series to be a theatrical release, is set to begin shooting in January 2008.
Officially, reps would not confirm the casting news. A Disney spokesperson tells Us: "The cast is still in negotiations and we have no further comment." Hudgens' publicist tells Us: "There is no deal yet. They are still in negotiations."
A source says that Hudgens' movie (and real-life) boyfriend, Zac Efron, will also return for the sequel, though the actor's publicist says a deal is not yet signed.

Vanessa to Lawyer: You Can't Sue Me, I Was Just a Kid! // Posted on November 2 by Jessie
"High School Musical" cutie Vanessa Hudgens is seeking dismissal of a lawsuit filed in September, alleging she owes her attorney $150,000. Hudgens says she was only 16 when she signed the deal, so it doesn't hold up!In his suit, attorney Brian Schall claims he helped Hudgens earn more than $5 million by advancing her funds for her songwriting and recording career. The suit says that Vanessa "has paid some, but not all, of the money owed ..."
Court papers filed Monday by Hudgens' lawyer, Evan N. Spiegel, say California's Family Code "provides that the contract of a minor is voidable and may be disaffirmed before (age 18) or within a reasonable time afterward" -- essentially, Vanessa was too young to sign the deal. The contract in question was initially signed in October of 2005, and Hudgens officially disaffirmed the contract on October 9, according to court documents. A copy of a two-paragraph letter from Hudgens to Schall nullifying their agreement is attached to her court papers, as is a copy of her birth certificate, which states that she was born December 14, 1988.
The court papers also say the agreement was with the law offices of Schall, not with Schall himself.

The High School sweethearts picked up a few goodies at Aahs Gift Store and exited out of the back.
On the way out, an overzealous security guard helped push Vanessa along into her waiting car.

Keeping up their Holiday spirit, Zac Efron took girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens out to pick up some Halloween supplies in Toluca Lake yesterday afternoon.
The High School Musical sweethearts made a last-second stop at Aahs costume shop in preparations for an evening of fun.
After picking up a few items, the couple made a quick bolt for the back exit in an attempt to avoid the horde of paparazzi waiting to catch a glimpse of the young lovebirds.
On the way out, a security guard helped Vanessa make it into her waiting car, while Zac, who sported a “Just Do It” shirt, was left to fend for himself. [Gossip Girls]
