We now have the official Rock On movie poster (formerly know as Will) I love it. Very intense! I can't wait for the movie!
Vanessa Hudgens' new film formerly known as Will, costarring Gaelan Connell and Alyson Michalka, is now called Rock On. I feel like this movie is going to be so random. Here is the cover art from Summit Entertainment. Under the cut is the looong plot synopsis. Do you think this will be a good movie? Will Burton (Gaelan Connell) is used to being bullied or completely ignored by his schoolmates, so when cool and popular former cheerleader Charlotte Banks (Alyson Michalka) starts inviting him to hang out with her, the quirky teenager is stunned, and so is his doting single mom Karen. Impressed by his eclectic knowledge of music, Charlotte, a gifted singer songwriter, asks Will to manage her fledgling rock band. AFTERMATH: “High School Musical” cutie Vanessa Hudgens, 19, feels she’s made it through the fire storm of controversy over those topless photos of her on the Internet last year. “I learned from everything,” she tells Entertainment Weekly in its Summer Music Preview that goes out nationally next week. “And I’m still here with my head on my shoulders. For that, I’m proud.”
Of course, Vanessa is there to plug her new album, “Identified,” which includes a song called “Gone With the Wind” that has lyrics that could be construed as an answer to her PR nightmare. She tells EW, “I just kind of went for it … The song basically means: I know a lot more, and that timidness and naiveté is gone with the wind.”

From Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens to Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu, "Extra" is at the top secret Utah set of the highly anticipated "High School Musical 3" -- and we've got all the details on the flick, which hits theatres in October.
The latest installment of the wildly popular Disney franchise follows the high school students through their senior year -- including a prom scene, which may reveal a love connection between the characters played by Bleu and Monique Coleman. "We go to prom together," admits Corbin.
The prom scene may be special in more ways then one; for actress Vanessa, it was her first experience with the high school dance! "I was always home-schooled, so I never got to go to my own prom because I never went to an actual school," said Hudgens, "this is my prom!"
Heartthrob Efron weighed in on the dance routines for "HSM 3: Senior Year" -- now they're bigger, better and harder than before! "The dances are out of control this time," said Zac, "I know I'm hurting this time -- I hurt in places I didn't know I had!"
Will fans of the "High School Musical" franchise get number 4 after this one? "This is the last chapter for us -- as of now," said Efron.

I'm so so sorry for taking so long but I have had so much going on with the end of school and it's been crazy but I'm finally done for the year and it's summer! What time is it? Summer Time! Ok. Vanessa attended the LA Lakers vs. Utah Jazz Game 6 of the NBA Playoff with Olesya and Ashley from HSM3 last Friday (5/16/08). Looks like Vanessa wanted the Lakers to win! ;) It was a girl's night out while the boys filmed their big basketball scene!

I found a rumored plot for HSM3 thanks to High School Musical Fan!
Sharpay will try to split Troy and Gabriella up. Sharpay’s plan will not work easy like in HSM2. She will have a new crush (Zeke?). Will do anything to get prom queen. Gabriella won’t let Sharpay get into her head this time (gets stronger!). Ryan shows more of his wildcat spirit instead of being Sharpay’s poodle/sidekick/lab rat. Chad and Taylor are trying to make the date worked out. Taylor trys to tell Chad to just ask her out like a gentlemen but Chad isn’t focused. Troy and Gabriella want to get the lead roles in the spring musical. Sharpay will compete to get a lead role in the musical again. The wildcats are worried about their future in college without one another. They wonder if they are all in this together. Jason gets a new girlfriend (Kelsi, Martha, or someone new). Ryan shows his crush to Gabriella like from HSM2. The new wildcats are: Tiara, Donnie, and Jimmy, will be in the musical and more seen hanging out with the wildcat seniors.
There will be alot more powerful musical numbers and bigger dance numbers and scenes.
The movie takes place at East High, and we will see the rooms of Troy, Gabriella, and Sharpay. The DVD will likely be made for a 2009 Summer Release. The movie will be made for a October 24 Theaterical Release,which is in theaters. There will be references to the first two films and more… Troy, Gabriella, and Sharpay all get solos. Troy and Gabriella will sing a duet. Everything has to stay under wraped until it’s closer to the release of HSM3 so recent tracklisting is not confirmed and the new tracklisting cannot be released. The Movie Premiere of High School Musical 3: Senior Year will be at Disney World on October 24th.

Zanessa attened the Jazz/Lakers game in Utah on Sunday after their Mother's day brunch. Ashley and Corbin were also there and apparently Ashley and what looks like her dad were sitting right across from Zanessa as a video shows of Ashley laughing and pointing to where they were sitting. I'm not sure where Corbin was sitting but there's picture of him giving the gang a big group hug. A mother who was out with her family for Mother's Day also saw them having their brunch before the game and you can check out her story on VanAshBreNique! She said that they saw Zac and Vanessa having brunch with Vanessa's Mom Gina, Stella, Ashley, Ashley's Mom and Dad, an unknown relative or friend, Matt Prokop (Sophomore/Mini Troy in HSM3), and his Mom. She also said Vanessa was very bouncy and bounded toward the chocolate fountain! Too Cute! At the game Zanessa sat together holding hands and they Kissed! It was so sweet and Zac kept his arm around Vanessa for most of the game. It's so awesome that they are getting more comfortable with sharing their relationship in public. The announcers then announced it on the speakers that they were there and they went out into the middle of the court to sign 3 basketballs while Vanessa danced with one to "Getcha Head in the Game" with Ashley. Or more like bounced. lol. They were then given a proper escort after they were discovered and left the game after giving all of us Zanessa fans a ton of eye candy so get ready for these pictures and videos!!!

Moving on to the news...
Apparently, the Sneakernight music video was filmed yesterday! It has been described as lively and fun, Vanessa and group of friends having a great house party, dancing and flirting, etc. I'm so excited. Thanks to Miss Vanessa for the info!
According to VanAshBreNique, they got confirmation from Susan (CosmoGirl! Rep) that Vanessa will be on the cover of CosmoGirl! for the upcoming August issue, which will be on sale early July. Can't wait.
Pictures of promotional cut-outs of the gang at the movie theaters displaying the HSM3 release date (Oct. 24) have surfaced and it looks like they're all dressed up for prom. Hope we get the official promos soon! Vanessa's dress looks adorable!
Also, according to VanAshBreNique, the movie Will has now been changed to Rock On. It's not confirmed, it's just a rumor at this point but either way I'll still love it! :)

Once again, according to VanAshBreNique, the Identified album realease date has been changed to July 1st and the itunes release has been pushed back aswell to May 27th. Shortly before "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" hits theaters, Disney will release a 2-disc deluxe set of "High School Musical 2." The DVD is titled "High School Musical 2: Dance Edition" and will include a special dance featurette as well as other bonus features. Disney is aiming for an October 16th release date. We'll have more information on the DVD when it becomes available.

He had a big smile on his face, but I couldn’t see hers because her back was to me."

The craziness of filming the highly anticipated "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" starts this Saturday! The Salt Lake Tribune reported Tuesday night that filming will begin Saturday, May 3 at EHS (East High School). It will take place over a 40 days period (2x HSM2) and will be filmed at EHS and other locations in Salt Lake County.Today we also got the Official Cover Art for HSM3: Senior Year! And yes, it is the famous jump! How could they leave that out, but ofcourse their wearing their Graduation gowns! Check it out below and the article from Just Jared which contains a film synopsis!

People.Com just posted a their 100 Most Beautiful People list, and Vanessa is on it! She definitely deserves it! Along with it came a gorgeous new photoshoot picture that she took without any makeup on and she looks just as gorgeous with or without. Very natural. lol. :)
Here's her comment about the photoshoot...
"I grew up in the business, so I was used to putting on makeup every day," says the 19-year-old star of the High School Musical movies, who went without makeup for her PEOPLE photo shoot. "Just recently I've learned to be okay with myself without wearing makeup. I think it was a special someone telling me that I didn't need it. I started taking care of my skin and realized I didn't need as much as I thought I did."
I'm pretty sure that special someone was Zac because your parent's tell you "Oh, you look fine!" but you don't really take it to heart because, they're your parents, so I think she would be touched if Zac said that. Plus, at a time when she was dating him under wraps she made this comment to a magazine...
The sweetest thing a guy said is that I look pretty with or without makeup.
Fan Meets Zanessa in Utah! // Posted on May 1 by Jessie
On Saturday (4/26/08) a fan that lives in Utah met Zac and Vanessa while shopping and got a chance to snap a picture. Check out the picture and story below!
On Saturday, Ashley and I were leaving Gateway after a successful shopping trip (I got a really cute dress) and we were exiting the parking area. For some reason I looked at the car across from us at the stop sign. "That looks like Vanessa Hudgens," I said and then brought my gaze over to the driver seat and saw Zac Efron!! I immediately started freaking out and Ashley was yelling at me to turn around! There was no where to turn around and there were cops right there directing traffic. I felt hopeless, but Ash's persistance gave me the strength to make it possible to flip a U while stalling traffic as I couldn't quite fit. I had to Austin Powers it and do like a 3 point turn! We were looking for the closest parking space and drove past a guy conveniently reversing out of his space. I quickly kicked it in reverse and took his spot. I couldn't help but call Erin in the midst of all the commotion and I freaked out on her, then hung up. Ashley and I then slying waited on the corner for them to pass us and really make sure it was them...it was! Now the only natural thing to do at that point was to snap a picture of them from behind.
Zac then looked back and they begin to trot, soon turning into a full-on run. Ashley and I couldn't help but die laughing that they were actually running from us! So of course we continued to follow them. We weren't the only ones...this middle-aged man dashed past us wearing a button-down plaid short-sleeved shirt, I'm not kidding, in a dead sprint. We creeped on Zac and Vanessa to Urban Outfitters where they separated.
Me: Can I get a picture with you?
Vanessa: We're not really taking pictures right now.
Me: Oh, well, I really like your work.
Vanessa: (smiling) Thank you so much.
Across the store...
Me: "Can I meet you?"
Zac: (smiles) Yeah. (puts his hand out)
Me: (shaking his hand, touching Zac Efron) Hi, I'm Miriam.
Zac: Hi, Miriam, it's nice to meet you. (he said my name!!)
Me: Yeah, you too, I really like your work. (no, I couldn't think of anything else to say)
Outside the store we continue to freak out and ran into plaid guy. Turns out the plaid guy's wife totally made him run after them and he ended up getting their autographs! Why didn't we think of that?? Oh well, I'm just glad I snuck a picture of them before they could tell me no!
