Hey guys, not much news but here's just a quick video from behind the scenes of "Will". It's not much but you can hear Sa5m talk a bit! :)Plus, here's just a little article about Zac concerning Vanessa. No one get worried. Not all relationships work because they're normal people too but he just wants to be cautious which is smart and I admire that they want their relationship to be something special they share so don't get freaked out. They know what's best for them and at this point are still going strong.

Rumor has it that Ashnessa is headed out to Utah for four weeks to start filming High School Musical 3. Tentative release date for the film is October 24th!
According to Wiki: Now high school seniors, Troy (Zac Efron) and Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) are facing the prospect of being separated from each other as they go off in different directions. Well, we don’t have an official word from Hollywood Records or anyone from her camp - but from the looks of it, Vanessa Hudgens will be going on a summer tour to promote her sophomore album.And how do we know this?
Well, Lousiana’s Blue Bayou Waterpark has posted their 2008 Summer Concert Series Schedule and slated for August 2nd is one Vanessa Hudgens. They are even advertising it on their marquee according to a lovely FF girl, Ali.
Of course we will tell you more about this tour: dates, venue and such, as soon as we find out more. Hopefully, Hollywood Records will make the official announcement when we get definite plans on the album in the next couple of weeks. [VanAshBreNique]

A super smiley (and solo) Vanessa Hudgens shows off a new set of bangs as she goes on a shopping spree in rainy New York City on Wednesday afternoon.
The 19-year-old High School Musical star started off in the West Village at Scoop boutique, then took a short walk to nearby Jeffrey.
After jumping into a taxi, she stopped off at Cartier in midtown to look for some new jewels. Vanessa picked up items from both Scoop and Cartier.

A little side note on this. The bangs are fake because the next day (above) she doesn't have them. They're cute but I guess they were just a one time thing. :) Also for those of you worried about Zanessa, they're strong and it's part of the business they're in to travel for movies and it can lead to problems in realationships but Zac and Vanessa contol their lives and know what's best for them. Zac is in London filming "Me and Orson Welles" and Vanessa just got back from filming "Will" in which time she's been hanging out with family and friends (Aly Michalka. I'm sure she'd hang out with Ashley too but she's also away filming "They Came From Upstairs") but on the days she's not filming like in these pictures she's wearing her Kuuipo ring. Most of you thought they stopped wearing them completely and thought they broke up but their characters don't have those rings so they can't wear them during filming. Just wanted to clear those things up.

Second of all, I'm so sorry for the long wait on all the latest pictures but I'm cracking down on it today so for starters in this update we have the official "Will" movie poster, a promotional image (Vanessa is the 3rd from the right), and 2 pictures of the cast from backstage at the "bandslam" scene!
Next, I know I mentioned Vanessa went to the South by South West Festival in Austin and posted some videos but I finally have the pictures from both premiere nights!

Everybody seems to know everyone in the close-knit Disney universe, and that includes Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus and High School Musical couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. However, we had no idea that Cyrus considers cutie Zac Efron one of her best friends. In a recent interview with J-14 Magazine, she dished about how their friendship has blossomed.
"Zac Efron and I have become best friends, and all these girls are like 'you're so lucky, he's so hot," Miley told the mag. But don't get the wrong idea.
"...I give him the hardest time about it. He's like my brother," Cyrus added.
And that won't change even if he were to ever break up with Vanessa Hudgens.
Besides, the Disney darling says that even if Zanessa were to break up, she would never go there. "You don't date your best friend's ex. Totally - the rules!"
From everything we've seen about her, Miley certainly seems like the sort of person who would obey the rules... no matter what.

Chatting with Vanessa Hudgens on ‘Will’ set
From a distance, she looks petite, fragile, almost doll-like in her Gothy costume for “Will,” the movie shooting in Austin for at least another week. Up close, Vanessa Hudgens, best known for Disney’s “High School Musical” franchise, is cool, self-possessed, remarkably resilient given her age (19) and global celebrity status.
(A stray paparazzo, probably in town to stalk Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, captured her and co-star Gaelan Connell rehearsing their first on-set kiss, firing up a ridiculous rivalry with Hudgens’ conjectural boyfriend, Zach Efron. I thought we had an anti-paparrazi accord in Austin.)
During a rehearsal break, we chatted with shyly friendly Hudgens about playing the Xbox game “Rock Band” with the rest of the cast (she wants her own), seeing movies (at Austin’s top movie exhibitor), and eating out (we won’t reveal her favorite local restaurant until the fan-magnet leaves town, but she likes anything yellowtail). All in all, Hudgens says her stay in Austin has been “a blast,” even given the 16-hour work days and scant time off.
We also spent time with the effortlessly charming Connell, best remembered for his role at age 10 in “Chocolat.” The son of Bethesda, Md., was pulled out of NYU classes and flown down to Austin to play the New Jersey music nerd (perhaps based on “Will” writer/director Todd Graff ) engaged in a high-school battle of the bands. He had originally auditioned to play the cello or guitar, but ended up the star. Lisa Kudrow (perpetually frowning on the set) plays his cool mother, while Scott Porter (“Friday Night Lights”) his fictional rival.
Porter is the cast extrovert, entertaining the gathered crowds with his stand-up and beat-box acts. The concert pro is Aly Michalka, who spends a lot of time reading on set during the eternal waits between shooting. (“Plain Truth” by Jodi Picoult sat in her lap as we talked.) Michalka is more accustomed to “music as music” than all the production and prep of a movie, but she loved the script and pursued the role.
We also chatted up the Fort Worth post-punk band Burning Hotel, who played Emo’s Annex last night, on of several spots, such as Stubb’s, Alamo Drafthouse and the Belmont, which have become cast hangouts. We’ll tell more on our set visit — a publish some set shots — in a later article, but for now, we are pleased to report that Austin has been kind to the makers of “Will,” who have returned the favor.br>

Hey Guys! I'm going to start off by saying, It's my Birthday! Whoopee! And I'm sick. Yay! Jk. Vanessa attended 2 premieres at the South by Southwest Festival in Austin and there's a video from March 7th at the opening night which you can view here! You can catch a glimpse of her on the red carpet at 00:27 seconds & she has a brief interview at 00:31 seconds.
Bobby Bones (The one who hosted the "Bandslam" in the Movie will and took the behind-the-scenes pictures added 2 more pod-casts about "Will" which you can listen to here & here! Here are the "Bandslam" pictures I promised!Josie and the Pussycats ain’t got nothin’ on her! Vanessa Hudgens busied herself yesterday proving how rock and roll she really is.
The “High School Musical” babe was spotted on the set of her new movie “Will” wielding a Gibson Flying V guitar and looking like she was ready to rock.
Hudgens was sporting a white knit dress overtop a black ribbed long sleeve shirt as she let her long dark curly locks fly.
According to press, “Will” sees Vanessa in a familiar roll - a high school girl. “A high school outcast’s bond with a popular girl over their shared love of music results in them assembling a rock group that looks to win their school’s upcoming battle of the bands competition.” [Gossip Girls]

Hey Guys to start it off thanks to ZF and VanAshBreNique, we have a few spoilers from the 'bandslam' scene they filmed this weekend for Will below. You don't have to read it, but remeber it may contain info you don't want to know untill you see the movie!Members of ZF have probably read Caro’s posting about the bandslam. In that posting, Caro mentioned Vanessa maybe playing the electric guitar. A VABN reader happened to be “fifth row smack center” at yesterday’s bandslam and can tell you that yes, her Gorgeous-ness did play an electric guitar during the bandslam scene. Although the audience heard a recording of the song (it’s better for filming) - Todd Graff assured the crowd that the cast did the vocals and played their own instrument for it. Vanessa was singing along to the song and fingering the guitar. So yeah, Vanessa as Sa5m is a rocker chick and expect a totally different sound, a good sound.
We will have pictures of that scene very soon! Vanessa looks so awesome as a rocker chick!
Moving on, we now have the official logo for High School Musical 3: Senior Year! I'm so excited for it and it will be realeased as a feature film in the movie theatre! Ahh we have so much to look forward to for Vanessa! Will, her new album, and definetly High School Musical 3: Senior Year!
