Zac went up to Montreal to visit Vanessa this past weekend! They were spotted hanging with the Black Eyed Peas at the Tribe Hyperclub in Montreal last Friday [6/19/09] and at the actual performance earlier that night at the Virgin Festival!
Vanessa was spotted having fun with boyfriend Zac Efron in Montreal on June 19, 2009. The handsome young man flew to Montreal to visit Vanessa Hudgens in Montreal where she is filming her new movie Beastly. They were spotted together having fun in Virgin Festival where Black Eyed Peas and Hedley and Simple Plan were performing.

Vanessa's on the cover of the August 2009 issue of Sugar magazine.She dished to the mag that she couldnt stop crying on the last day of High School Musical. She shared, The last day of HSM was horrible. I couldnt stop crying. Having to say goodbye to my close friends was so painful.
But Vanessa would love to work with on-and-off screen boyfriend Zac Efron again. She shared, Not right now but sometime in the future it would be nice to work together again.

Vanessa recently sat down with Alloy.com to chat about her upcoming flick Bandslam.
She dished about going from giddy Gabriella in HSM to monotone Sa5m as well as her craziest fan encounter. Check it:
On learning to talk without any emotions: It kind of was [hard] because Im such a giddy person and I laugh at almost everything, so I had to refrain from that. It was a lot of fun, you know? Shes a different kind of person, so it took a lot.
On her snacking guilty pleasure: I like dipping French fries in a milkshake.
On her craziest fan encounter: Probably in Brazil. I was coming back to LA and I was with (boyfriend) Zac [Efron], and there was a security team holding hands, circling us and I was like, Oh gosh, this could be a disaster. We look ridiculous! As soon as we walk in, Im about to say, Its OK, you dont have to do it, when a bunch of fans come running out of nowhere and it became a mob scene. It was crazy.
On those New Moon rumors: It was completely false. I never even talked to anyone about that movie at all. It came out of nowhere. My sister is a big fan of the books, so shes read almost all of them and Im friends with Nikki [Reed] whos in that movie. So she told me about it and I was like, It would be awesome to work with you! But its not really happening right now.

Bandslam boy Gaelan Connell caught up with YoungHollywood.com at the Reel Thinking event held at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles last month.
The 20-year-old upcoming actor revealed that it was unfortunate kissing both of his leading ladies, Vanessa Hudgens and Aly Michalka. He shared, Unfortunately, I have to kiss both of them in the movie. Unfortunate for them, clearly.
When asked what he did to prepare for the kissing scenes, Gaelan replied, Lots of peanut butter. Definitely not anything like mints. It was funny and cute and I dont think I was really acting. I was a bit scared. These are superstar girls that were drawn into my life and now, I guess Im friends with.
Bandslam hits theaters Friday, August 14.

Neil Patrick Joins the Cast Beastly!
After a successful night at the Tony Awards, Neil Patrick Harris is keeping the momentum going with roles in two upcoming feature films.
Harris will be joining Vanessa Hudgens, Mary-Kate Olsen, and Alex Pettyfer in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST retelling BEASTLY. He'll be playing a blind tutor who helps Pettyfer's character after he's turned into a hideous young man. Daniel Barnz is directing.
The actor has also landed a starring role in Josh Shelov's THE BEST AND THE BRIGHTEST. Harris and Bonnie Somerville will be playing a couple from Delaware who move to New York's Upper East Side and enter the world of private kindergartens. Amy Sedaris, John Hodgman, Peter Serafinowicz, Bridget Regan, Kate Mulgrew, and Christopher McDonald are also starring.

Hey guys, sorry about the wait! I've been busy, but I have been working, just behind the scenes uploading pics and stuff so I think the update will be worth it. Onto the News...+++
Vanessa is now officially in Montreal to film Beastly! How exciting! She was seen yesterday [6/3/09] out and about, and also met with a realtor, looking for a summer apartment in the historic Old Montreal district. Guess she's gettin' one for the summer while she's there filming so she doesn't have to stay in a hotel the whole time, that'd get pretty expensive! I hope she gets a couple breaks so she can visit her family and Zac in L.A. or viceversa! :D Check out the candids below!
One of Vanessa's style icons, Mary-Kate Olsen, will be joining the cast of Beastly! How exciting that must be! Mary Kate will be playing Kendra, a girl who places a curse on a Alexs Kyle, whos physically transformed into everything he despises.
Beastly, set in Manhattan, is about a popular kid with a mean streak who ditches a date. His date, Kendra, turns out to be a witch who curses him to become everything he hates. The grotesque transformation leaves him with the seemingly impossible task of finding true love to break the ugly spell. Shooting begins June 13 in Montreal.

Vanessa attended the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday with Zac and was up for 4 awards but didn't win any :( It's too bad, she deserved all of them but Ashley won the Breakthrough Performance Female award and Zac won the Best Male Performace award so congrats to them! She looked absolutely gorgeous and I added tons of pictures but I still have more to add so stay tuned for that! I also recorded all of Vanessa's parts so you can check that out below!

On her parents not wanting her to become an actress: All the rejection is tough and discouraging. Its so dog-eat-dog, and who would want to subject their girl to that world? But it was just something that I loved so much. Man, I cant imagine myself away from the business.
On not living with boyfriend Zac Efron: Im young. I should have my own place. I think that everybody should buy their own home on their own.
On upcoming movie, Sucker Punch: Its totally my Angelina Jolie part. People are either going to love me for doing it or hate me for doing it, but Im very excited.

"Bandslam" stars Alyson Michalka-better-known as half of pop duo Aly & AJ-and "High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens as misfit high school students prepping for a battle of the bands, and both women have songs on the soundtrack. "It's a real music picture in a way Cameron Crowe would make a music picture," says Mitchell Leib, president of music and soundtracks at Walt Disney Pictures. Disney is also trying to encourage young women to explore older acts; other featured tracks come from the Velvet Underground, Cheap Trick and David Bowie, who also makes a cameo.

Vanessa Hudgens is delighted with her role in new movie Sucker Punch because shes always wanted to take on an action role.
The High School Musical star says shes keen to follow in the footsteps of Tomb Raider superstar Angelina Jolie.
Im so stoked about it, Hudgens told E! News of her role in the upcoming Zach Snyder-directed flick. I kept telling everyone, I want to do an action film. But they were like, Maybe in a few years. So Im like, Ha, in your face. I am doing one now!
Hudgens will shoot Sucker Punch after completing Beastly, which she starts filming this week in Montreal.
Vanessas latest film, Bandslam, hits theaters Aug. 14. It means a lot to me, she said. I get to play a different character who is a lot darker and very deadpan throughout the whole thing.

Zac Efron previously revealed that he won't be doing any more musicals, which is why he left the "Footloose" remake. He now tells to E! Online that he would love to join his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens in the upcoming Zack Snyder action flick "Sucker Punch."
"I think it's an all-girl movie," Efron said backstage at the MTV Movie Awards. "But if there's any way to be in that film, I'd do it. I'd play a girl if I had to."
It seems very unlikely that Snyder would cast Efron, but you never know. He still has some time to think about it, since "Sucker Punch" won't begin filming till September 10th.
